Owners Peter and Erin Mariano have each been gardening for 30 years and in 2003, combined their inherited passion and knowledge to form Aventine Gardens LLC, named after the Aventine Hill of Rome, which is known for its charming, abundant gardens, beautiful vistas and magical, subtle charm.
We have recently expanded our business from Fairfield and Litchfield Counties of Connecticut to include the towns of Eastern Long Island, which are known for their highly fertile soils.
Erin's background as an artist and designer with a degree form Rhode Island School of Design combined with Peter's rigging and sustainable building experience makes for a team that can design and manage highly customized gardens with great aesthetic appeal and high functionality. Many of our clients say their gardens have literally changed their lives.
